This 16-page softcover portfolio
features beautiful black and white reproductions of the works
of R H Phister. This limited edition of 400 is hand-bound by the
artist and embossed with artist's chop.
Artists R H Phister and Gomez founded
Dark's Art Parlour in 1994. Originally intended as a studio space
to showcase their own work, it soon grew into a full fledged art
gallery. Although the gallery was closed after three years, Dark's
still remains as a publisher of fine art books. These samples
are taken from Phister's first portfolio collection; these large
scale graphite drawings are made on cotton, which are then mounted,
stuffed, and sewn, giving them a three dimensional quality. Her
work has been shown extensively in Southern California and has
been featured in the major motion picture Kiss the Girls
starring Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd and the soon-to-be released
Your Friends and Neighbors starring Nastasia Kinski and
